Sabah Transferred to the Philippines?

Many Sabahans are unaware that the Sultanate of Sulu's claim to Sabah is not merely the Sultanate's claim. Some argue that since the Sultanate of Sulu no longer exists, then there is nothing to worry about.

But what many do not know is that the Sultanate of Sulu had officially signed a document surrendering sovereignity over Sabah to the Republic of the Philippines prior to the formation of Malaysia.

The treaty signed by the Sultanate of Sulu transferring Sabah to the government of the Philippines can be read here. And since the Federal Constitution of Malaysia also does not define the Federation of Malaysia as including Sabah and Sarawak (see Article 160), the status of Sabah is very worrying. It is high time the Sabah issue is explained once and for all.

For those who cannot access the link, just go directly to this http://www.royalsulu.com/transfer.html

It doesn't concern now...eventhough if it is a fact that Sultan Sulu has transfer Sabah to the Philippines.
Just like the old empire of Majapaht cannot claim back its kingdom now!! or Johor empire cannot claim back S'pore and Riau islands, and many others...no matter how many treaties has been signed in the past!!!

The fact is true!

If the British returned Hong Kong to China, then why not Sabah be return to the Philippines?

Treaties are important in international Law!

Sabah belong to The Philippines and its just a matter of time, the transfer of Sovereignty is eminent.

Treaties were made by men, and it can be break by men as well.

If not, Philippines is still under the Ammerican Spainish colonies title, and the Sulu sultans would be gone like the Hawaii Sultan.
If treaties can claim back any territories; What about the Ottoman Kingdom, Kashimer, East Turkistant (Xinjian), Tibet, Taiwan or Falkland island???

How about the origin of Sulu Sultan? was it an Arab trader during SriVijiya era??? So this Sulu sultan consider as a colonial leader of the Arab kingdom.
If the Philippines could kick out the American Spanish colony during the post WWII's worldwide anti-colony campaigns, then the treaties made by the Arab colonies should put to void as well!!!

Shall pray for this anti-colonies campaign helps the Borneo island becomes one nation, like Australia.

Try learn something from the movie Avantar... “Change is inevitable, growth is intentional. Life is change. Growth is optional. Choose wisely.”

The warlord kingdoms were in the past, people's power is now, change for adaptation will be the future.
The famous Charles Darwin quoted; "It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.”
...also...
“A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life.”

So why waste time to dream about the past???

Yeah, why should we ask for what is actually happen in the past? We should go on life and be better from time to time. It doesn't matter we are belong to Philippine long time ago, present or in future. All we we need to bare in mind is we are now Sabahans in Malaysian status. So move forward and learn from the best!

this agreement happen before sabah independent that is 31 of august 1963...the malaysia officially formed on 16 of sept 1963..and the agreement date is 12 of sept 1962, a year before malaysia born... but its now in history...sabah was part of malaysia...maybe that's the reason why there's so many Filipinos here in sabah both legal or illegal immigrant...

Memang menggerikan apabila Sabah dikaitkan dengan Sultan Sulu namun bukti tiada untuk menyokong pernyataan itu.
